Nestled in the lush edge of the extraordinary Sinharaja Rain Forest, Blue Magpie Lodge offers an unforgettable escape. The room had a stunning view of tea plantations and opened onto a veranda, ideal for relaxing. The delicious meals were a highlight, showcasing Sri Lanka's tropical flavors and spices.The lodge's location was perfect for exploring Sinharaja NP, with the staff going above and beyond to assist in planning our excursions. Breakfast overlooking the paddy fields and mountains was a peaceful start to each day. The opportunity to bathe in a natural stream amidst ancient trees was truly rejuvenating.The serene surroundings and eco-friendly design of the lodge provided a harmonious blend of comfort and nature. We enjoyed watching the colorful array of birds just outside our room and along the stream. Blue Magpie Lodge Sinharaja is a must-visit destination for those seeking a tranquil retreat amidst Sri Lanka's rich history and natural beauty.
